How to Use Miles Flow: A Simple Guide to Better Photos
Miles Flow is built to make photo sessions feel less like guessing and more like following a clear plan. Pick a pose, save it to a Flow Set, open the camera, and use the live reference to adjust your body before you take the shot.
1. Start With the Pose Library
Open the pose library and choose a style that matches the photo you want: casual, confident, fashion, travel, couples, or beginner-friendly. The goal is not to copy every pose perfectly. The goal is to give your body a clear direction.
If you are new, start small. Choose three to five poses that feel realistic for your outfit, location, and confidence level.
2. Save Poses Into a Flow Set
A Flow Set is your shoot plan. Instead of opening the camera and deciding on the spot, you prepare a short sequence before you shoot. This helps especially when you are outside, travelling, or taking photos in a public place.
- Save a simple opener pose.
- Add one or two stronger standing poses.
- Add one seated or movement-based pose if the location allows it.
- Keep your set short enough to finish without overthinking.
3. Use the Camera View as Your Guide
When you start shooting, Miles Flow shows the reference pose while you are in the camera. Check the big things first: body angle, shoulders, hands, and head direction. Then refine the smaller details.
The score is there to help you know whether you are close. You do not need 100%. A good photo often comes from matching the idea of the pose while keeping your own natural expression.
4. Review and Repeat
After a few shots, review what worked. If your hands look tense, choose poses with clearer hand placement. If your posture looks closed, choose poses with stronger shoulder and chin direction.
Best First Session
For your first session, set your phone on a tripod near a window, choose five poses, and spend ten minutes practicing. Keep the session private and low-pressure. Miles Flow works best when you treat posing as a skill you can practice, not a personality trait you either have or do not have.
